The problem: 40m3 of hard clay had to be removed from the basement of a house. A normal mini excavator couldn’t be used because of the exhaust fumes. The soil had to be transported out trough a door 2meters above the digging level.
Our solution: we put the showel on the BROKK 40 demolition robot! It uses a 4,5kw electric motor, instead of diesel. and weights only 380kg so it is easy to lift up from the hole when the work is done!
To get the stuff from the hole up to the truck, we used the minivoyer conveyor belts, 5 units was needed to bring the clay outside.
