This conveyor system performs two tasks at once. The low speed of the conveyor allows product to cool between packaging phases while also transferring bottles from one power conveyor to another.
Here, containers are filled and sealed before entering the custom conveyor. Speed is reduced to allow product to cool before entering the second power conveyor where other packaging tasks, such as labeling or coding, can take place. In addition to cooling, the transfer from one conveyor to another allows for a horseshoe design in the packaging system to save space or add efficiency.
