A frozen vegetable processor needed to upgrade an existing sanitary conveyance operation within an existing footprint. A sanitary washdown conveyor was needed to convey frozen peas, corn and carrots up a 40° incline to dump into a 52″ tall tote.
Omni Metalcraft Corp. designed a Stainless Steel Sanitary Incline Plastic Belt Conveyor to meet the customer’s sanitary design criteria and fit within the existing footprint. The plastic belt was equipped with cleats to convey the loose frozen vegetables up the steep incline. The conveyor also maintained industry accepted sanitary designs for direct food contact and frequent washdown.

This belt conveyor system comes equipped with pack tables on either side of the conveyor system to allow for quick and easy shipping preparation. Conveyor systems will almost always be custom manufactured for each unique packaging project, from length and width to line height to construction material.

Power conveyors and power conveyor systems are manufactured with aluminum, stainless steel and HDPE construction. With sanitary, low profile and/or C-frame designs, our belt conveyor systems can handle almost any product. Serpentine conveyors and curved conveyor sections can also be built to save production floor space.
