Excessive belt stretching during starting can cause sprocket slippage (hopping). Normally we would retard or ramp the speed up on a long line, but this system needs to quickly restart after an item is removed from the end.
This test verifies that the 6″ mesh belting can quickly start/stop with a load of approximately 40 lbs without experiencing any adverse effects.
