General Description: Engineered for the blow molding market, this unit is designed to receive bottles/tails and or moils as they are discharged from a blow molding machine tool. Each shot is dropped between a vertically orientated belt conveyor and an adjustable slide plate with gap adjustment. The smaller of the two pieces will naturally fall through the gap with the larger of the two pieces flowing to the designated discharge end. The adjustable slide plate can be replaced with another conveyor, traveling in the same direction but at a reduced speed, causing the bottles to spin and assist in separating parts that do not separate easily. The smaller pieces, traditionally the tails and moils fall through and land on another conveyor belt positioned horizontally and underneath the separator. This belt is usually moving in the opposite direction of the vertical conveyor. The scrap is conveyed and discharged.
