Sidewall belts are produced with specific components especially designed for high inclined and vertical systems.
One of the most important characteristics of Sidewall belts for high inclined and vertical systems is the use of base conveyor belts with cross stabilized insertions.
Sidewall conveyor belts are designed with elevation changes from horizontal to inclined and/or vertical, and in the return strand, they are sustained on the free lateral spaces. These deflection and support zones require a very rigid and stiff belt. These cross stabilized base belts are then a fundamental component of Sidewall belts
They are manufactured with a huge range of rubber compounds, so they can meet any conveying exigency.
There are different typologies of belts:
- TEXRIGID Belt is in textile carcass EP type (Polyester – Polyamid) with two weave rigid fabrics made in Nylon.Texrigid Belts are suitable for a medium – heavy applications. Different tensile strengths and/or cover thicknes are available on demand. In the table below you can find some standard types.
- CROSSRIGID Belts are in textile carcass EP (Polyester – Polyamide) with rigidity inserts in steel cord, that assure stability and rigidity of the belt also with longer blets. Different tensile strengths and/or cover thicknes are available on demand. In the table below you can find some standard types.
- CROSSRIGID RE Belts are in metal carcass Steel Cord. These belts, with steel breakers, are the proper solution for high inclined heavy applications
