High temperature slat conveyors are designed for handling furnace loads like hot billets, ingots & bars, etc. The slats are fabricated in steel grades — MS/SS-202/SS-304/SS-306 suitable for the intended application. The slats are cold formed in to channel shapes and are adequately reinforced to withstand high temperature and impact deformation.
The slats can withstand temperatures up to 900oC. The conveyor can be customized with sensor based automation to synchronize with furnace loading and unloading equipments. Customizable speeds can be designed to limit heat losses during transfer.
